Describe the qualities that your program is looking for in a potential student-athlete?

We look for players are self motivated, good character, trustworthy, and don’t have an ego that gets in the way. I look for players that have the basics, athleticism, sound basic skills, and the willingness to learn and get better.

Could you give us an example of a current or former player who exceeded your expectations, highlighting the reasons that player excelled?

We had a player that was very good at what she did, bring the ball down the flank (as a midfielder) and serve it in the box.

Through hard work and the ability to listen and learn she developed into one of the best players I ever coached. Could have easily played for a lot of D1 schools. A player totally under the radar and a wonderful person to boot.

Ended up making All Conference her junior and senior year, was our leading goal scorer her senior year. She was also selected to the 1st-and 2nd team All-Region team her junior and senior year.

She was easily the most dangerous player on the field her last two years. She grew as a player because someone believed in her and made her believe in herself.
